Tablecloths crocheted by Sandra!

Senior Laimdota's working life has been related to money and numbers - she was an accountant and learned to knit when her first son was born. Later, knitting was put aside a bit, but in retirement it is again an important part of life. The war in Ukraine started when the lady was working as a volunteer in the Red Cross, and then it was clear - we had to knit socks and send them to Ukraine. This has been going on for several autumns and now, in order to supplement her small pension, the senior citizen hopes to sell some knitted socks.

Hair accessories for every taste!

Ms. Sandra's hands have always been in motion - crocheting, sewing, working with clay, felting, weaving - but the closest thing to her heart has been weaving, which she has been passionate about for more than 15 years. There are several ladies in the county who not only share their wicker weaving skills, but also grow wicker themselves. Every job that you can do freely and for your own pleasure, brings joy, and she is believed to be one of the oldest Sandras in Latvia.
