Knits by Dace

Dace was born in Riga, spent her childhood in Jelgava, then worked in Salaspils and Ogre.
Dace has always loved needlework - knitting more than crocheting, and when she was young and her mother encouraged Dace to come to the kitchen, Dace refused saying that her husband would cook. "Where are you going to find one like that?" Dace's mom replied in disbelief.
Time passed, Dace got married and her husband was a food technologist - he cooked, Dace did not go to the kitchen.
Dace is no stranger to neither farm work nor programming, but she doesn't want to jump off a mountain anymore, her dreams were shattered by a spinal injury.
Grandchildren and a painting of an Australian landscape on the wall bring joy every day - Dace would still like to go to Australia.
