Collection: Ms. Genovefa's double mittens

Her special name was given to Ms. Genovefa by her mother from an old novel about a German countess - the book was kept by her mother in her cradle and is still a fond memory. Needles have always been very important to Genovefa - "I didn't go to school yet, but I already learned how to knit socks." We dyed the yarns with buckthorn skins and berries. That's why it's a strange feeling now that she's 84 years old, because she knows she'll probably never knit again - she managed to recover from her broken shoulder, but now she needs an operation on her arm and whether she'll be able to knit after that - no one can say.

Thank you for choosing to support Ms. Genovefa!
