Is it easy to move to another part of Latvia if you are single and over 80? No, it's hard, but sometimes staying in a place where the happiest moments of your life are gone can be too painful. Ms. Valdas was born in Sece, she met her future husband with whom they spent 59 years together in Jēkabpils and they both created a place to call their own in the windy city - Liepāja. The husband went to the sea and cherished his wife, the common passion of both was the garden. After the death of her husband, it was too difficult for Ms. Valda to stay in a place where every corner and every flower reminded her of her husband, so a new phase of her life begins in Ogre.
