Uldis is a gentleman from Ikšķile in his best years, when an active working life is behind him. Uldi was involved in wicker weaving by a friend, together they learned everything about the growth and correct harvesting of wicker, as well as the nuances of weaving. For a while it was an important source of income, as even furniture was woven to order. Then, for 20 years, every day, through his fingers, he replaced the flow of electricity wires - he worked as an electrician. But now, when there is more free time again, working with wicker again gives great satisfaction.
