Ms. Maira's handicrafts

Ms. Mairas is a disabled person from Riga, who learned to work with leather 2 years immediately after leaving school, because the goal was to create works for Dailrade at home. Then she also learned paper binding, which is still being practiced by the lady herself, both by making the pages of "Poetry books" and by binding old books. In making her works, Maira likes to use leather clothes and other materials that are no longer worn, thus giving them another chance. If once the design of each work had to be approved by the artistic council, now it is a pleasure that every idea can be realized.
